Geotechnics Switzerland is repositioning itself regarding its young members. Events on topics such as “Working abroad,” “Sustainability,” and other interesting novelties have already been held in recent years. With the “Geotech F** Up Night,” the newly formed committee of young members has now taken action for the first time! In the future, the seven members will regularly organize events in the German- and French-speaking parts of Switzerland, take over the active planning of the popular “Design Challenge,” and organize construction site visits and the annual young members’ event. The work has already begun, and we are very much looking forward serving our young colleagues with interesting events.
