We cordially invite our members to our anniversary event and Annual General Meeting. You can expect keynote lectures by Prof L. Laloui (EPFL) and Prof J. Gaume (ETHZ). Prof Laloui will speak about bioconsolidation. In this innovative and sustainable technology, the soil properties are significantly improved by bacterially induced precipitation of calcium carbonate. Prof. J. Gaume (ETHZ) will report on the advanced geotechnical modelling of alpine mass movements.
The anniversary general meeting of Swiss Geotechnical Society will take place on 27 March 2025 in Bern.
