The Young Members event held on October 23, 2024, at ETH Hönggerberg was a great success, offering an exciting opportunity to explore the topic “Quantified Climate Reporting in Geotechnical Engineering & Sustainable Analytics”.
Around 40 participants had the chance to learn more about sustainability in geotechnics from two specialists: Konrad Westermann from Gruner AG and Luca Bruni from the European Working Group EFFC-DFI. Their presentations highlighted innovative approaches to quantified climate reporting in geotechnics and sustainable analytics methods, which are gaining increasing relevance in practice.
The event not only provided valuable insights into current industry developments but also created a space for in-depth exchanges and discussions. Following the presentations, an aperitif was held in the Alumni Lounge, allowing participants to network further and delve deeper into the topic in a relaxed atmosphere.
